JANUARY 30, 2010 - GODDESS GATHERING - LOS ANGELES
The topic for this our January Gathering was "Divine Passion" and we highlighted Goddess Pele. Goddess Pele asks the question "What is your heart's true desire?"
After answering several questions to help us tap into what our passions may be (see article in this month's newsletter to do the same), the Goddesses shared what their passions were, why they are or aren't living them, and how their lives would look if they were fully living their passion.
It was a wonderful exploration into how we sometimes allow FEAR to keep us from fully living
I suggest that you answer the questions in the article and find our what YOUR passion is. After doing so, I invite you to do the Empowerment assignment for January. For those of you that are new to the Goddesses and/or this site, the Empowerment is our "homework" after a Gathering. It relates to the topic discussed and allows for the women to go deeper into the discovery of their true Goddess nature.
The Empowerment for this month is:
Choose a passion from your list. Every day, for the next 30 days, you are to activate that passion. You will do this by telling others about it, researching it, doing it, visualizing about it, working towards it, creating a vision board about it, and so on. The idea is to make this passion a reality by actively creating it. Keep a Passion Journal. Write about the discovery of your heart's true desires. Do the work to uncover your Goddess self!
Also at our January Gathering, we introduced the "Goddess Gathering Proclamation of Commitment". This is an agreement that each and every active Goddess is asked to sign to show their commitment to their empowerment and the empowerment of women everywhere. To view and sign this commitment, please read our February 2010 newsletter. You may sign up for our monthly newsletter on the homepage of this site.

Childcare Now Available At The Goddess Gathering!
We are happy to announce that childcare is now provided at the Goddess Gathering.
We have secured a childcare professional to take care of the children while the Gathering is taking place. Your child/children will be cared for in a room right next door to where the Gathering is taking place. They will receive a light snack and be entertained by such things as educational DVD's and/ or movie, story time, and game playing.
The cost is $20 for one child ($10 for any additional children). This will cover your child's care by the professional, a snack and entertainment for the duration of the Gathering, (1:45 p.m. - 5:15 p.m.). Please note, there must be a minimum of 3 children to be able to provide this service. Goddess Moms may contact our Director of Operations, Ailia Coley-McKinney, directly to reserve a spot for their child/children at ailia@tomikosgoddessgathering.com. Please be prepared to provide the name and age of each child and any special instructions or dietary needs.
A minimum of 3 children are needed to confirm childcare services. We require all requests be received one week before the Gathering date to ensure the childcare provider's availability.
