Childcare Now Available At The Goddess Gathering!

Beginning with our June 27, 2009 Goddess Gathering, we are happy to announce that childcare will be provided.

We have secured a licensed childcare professional to take care of the children while the Gathering is taking place. Geney Warner from "Geney's Little Blessings, Curriculum Based Family & Child Care" will be taking care of the children in a room right next door to where the Gathering is taking place. They will receive a light snack and be entertained by such things as educational DVD's and/ or movie, story time, and game playing.

The cost is $20 per child. This will cover your child's care by the licensed professional, a snack and entertainment for the duration of the Gathering, (1:45 p.m. - 5:15 p.m.). Please note, there must be a minimum of 3 children to be able to provide this service. Goddess Moms may contact our Event Coordinator, Ailia Coley-McKinney, directly to reserve a spot for their child/children at events@tomikosgoddessgathering.com. Please be prepared to provide the name and age of each child and any special instructions or dietary needs.

Los Angeles Goddess Gathering - March 28, 2009

The topic for this Gathering was "Goddess Wisdom". The ladies answered questions meant to allow them to share their wisdom with the women in attendance. We also had the opportunity to discuss issues close to our hearts and receive wisdom and guidance from our Goddess sisters. As usual, it was a moving Gathering. Thanks again to all of the Goddesses in attendance. A special hello to our new and returning Goddesses! Welcome home!

The Empowerment for this Gathering was to create a "Goddess Superhero"name for yourself. What is something you are committed to transforming? Are you opening yourself up to love? Then you can be the "Goddess of Love". Are you normally reserved and/or fearful? Well, you might be the "Goddess of Courage" this month. Have you spent way too much time at work? You might consider the "Goddess of Play" as your superhero name.

Each Goddess paired up with another Goddess and they will be checking in weekly with one another to see how their superhero status is coming along. You can choose a female friend or family member to support you with this Empowerment too. Why not invite her to create her own Goddess Superhero name? Two Goddess Superheroes are always better than one! Please write and let us know how you're doing.

Goddess Plans for 2009!

* This year, we are taking our show on the road! We will be working with women's organizations in our community and spreading the message of empowerment with these lovely ladies. If you know of an organization that we could meet with, please let us know.
