On Saturday, September 20, 2008, Tomiko Fraser's Goddess Gathering, hosted a RENT PARTY for our fellow Goddess, Linda Antwi and her wonderful clothing store, "The Store by Girlie Designs" (www.girlie-designs.com).

We had a wonderful time and helped Linda raise over $3000 to help keep her store open!

"WALK FOR LUPUS NOW"



The ladies of Tomiko Fraser's Goddess Gathering will be walking in this year’s Walk for Lupus Now on October 18 at Exposition Park in Los Angeles. We have created a team and hope that you will be a part of it!

Tomiko's sister, Shneequa, has a severe case of Lupus that has affected her brain. The Goddesses are walking to raise awareness and funds for Shneequa and the many others affected by Lupus.

In case you don't know, there are over 1.5 million Americans diagnosed with Lupus. Lupus is a chronic, potentially life threatening autoimmune disease that can cause damage to virtually any organ in the body, especially the skin, joints, blood, and kidneys. There is currently no cure for Lupus.

The Lupus Foundation of America is the nation's leading voluntary health organization that provides direct services to people with lupus; education to the public, to patients, and to healthcare providers; advocates on behalf of people with lupus; and funds research into the causes and cure for lupus.
