Tomiko & her sister, Shneequa

Lupus Foundation of America. This foundation is near to my heart because my sister,Shneequa, had a severe case of lupus that affected her brain. Shneequa lost her battle with lupus in March 2009, but I continue to speak out on her behalf and the millions of others affected by this devastating disease. I have been the National Spokesperson for the LFA for 9 years and on their Board of Directors for the past 3 years. There is currently no cure for lupus. There have been no new drugs approved to treat lupus in over 50 years. Please click on the site to learn more about lupus and ways you can help.

Women For Women International. This organization assists women in countries around the world as they work to reclaim their lives. The Goddesses have adopted "Goddess Sisters" via Women for Women International and have financially and emotionally supported these women since 2004. I hope you'll consider adopting a sister as well.
